Week #7 Siege of Leboho

Kgosi Maleboho was so distraught at being captured by the British that he threw himself into the fire. He was pulled out by his captors, but had to be tied up after he tried to do it a second time. So it was that the prisoners, Maleboho and the men with him, were taken to Pretoria in chains. The women and children were split up and forced to work for Boer farmers for no wages for five years, in other words, as slaves.
